  • The Key Tested Telex (KTT) system was a widely used method for secure financial communication between banks before the adoption of the SWIFT network. It relied on the Telex system for transmitting financial messages and incorporated a cryptographic authentication method known as the Key Test Code to verify the authenticity of transactions.
